Liberal Religion on ‘Hold’, ‘Play’, Or ‘Fast Forward’?

For a long time, liberal religious people have regarded themselves as the avant-garde in cultural spirituality, progressive in their political outlook, and forerunners in philosophy and science. Are we still keen to take the lead? And if so, where are the leaders to be found?

The envisaged programme includes devotions, talks & workshops.
Starts 19th July with an afternoon programme; ends 22nd July after a morning service & closing ceremony

(1) Michael Servetus (Spaniard and internationalist) in the context of his time (a Europe without borders, the humanistic paradigm shift, the communications revolution by the printing press); 
(2) The timeliness of the theological method of Servetus with openings to Judaism and Islam. Are there bridges between Christian and Muslim theologies à la Napkin?
